Playoff Chaos Tomorrow

is 12-1 > 11-1?

If the Championship game doesn't matter, then why have it?

I hate OSU btw., but it's hard to say 11-1 Co-Champ is better than the 59-0 OSU just gave Wisconsin.

Baylor beat TCU, Kansas St, and Oklahoma. OSU beat Michigan St and Wisconsin. Yes I'd say Baylor still has the better body of work.

The committee already chose between TCU and Baylor. Right or wrong, that debate is over,

It's down to TCU or Ohio State. TCU has a decided edge in "quality of loss" and SOS (according to FBSchedules.com, which purports to use the NCAA method):

- TCU, 3 point road loss to Baylor. SOS #30.
- tOSU, 14 point loss at home to VA Tech. SOS #35.

So...from the #3 spot, TCU did enough to stay in. Apologies to Baylor, who left their best argument behind them in Morgantown, but it's TCU. If Ohio State gets in, then the CFP system is completely compromised. Which wouldn't surprise anyone here, I suspect.

Go Vols.

alabama, oregon, fsu, and baylor is how i have it ohio state lost to a 6-6 team and almost lost to pen state the 59-0 means nothing, baylor beat tcu so they have the best win out of the 3 so i go with baylor

Well...we'll know in about an hour or so.

If this were "Jeopardy", I'd take "The Crap is About to Hit the Fan" for a thousand, Alex.....

How's Baylor better? Baylor played 6 bowl eligible teams, TCU played 7 bowl eligible teams, and OSU played 9 bowl eligible teams.

They don't deserve it, but OSU will be in. ESPN hasn't sold anything this hard since Charles Woodson.

Well, since they were selling LSU this hard to the pollsters in December of the 2007 season, but yeah, it's noticeable.

Still, though. They non-conference schedule method they went with was "3 easy teams in case we're undefeated or in case we need those wins just for bowl eligibility" hurt their overall argument.

Their OOC schedule ranked last in the country.

Baylor didn't lose to a 6-6 team at home.

That's because they didn't even play a 6-6 team. Their out of conference schedule was Buffalo,Northwestern St, and SMU. If the committee rewards Baylor for that then no one would ever schedule an out of conference bowl eligible team again.
