Playoff committee determined to get 2 big 10 teams in?

I’m not sure why people don’t understand this. That’s the way it’s always been. They put a 1-loss Ohio St in ahead of a 2-loss Penn St that won a Big 10 Championship. Penn St even beat them head to head. The thing that hurt Penn St was a 39 point shellacking to Michigan. Sounds similar to our beatdown of LSU doesn’t it? LSU isn’t getting in. They have shown in the past that you don’t have to win a conference championship. They just want the 4 best teams and after Ohio St-Michigan play, Tennessee will be in the top 4.
They might put a 1 loss PAC10 champ Southern Cal in over us or a 1 loss Ohio State in over us if that 1 loss is 38-37 to #2 Michigan. Those are the main threats to us imo. We need TCU to lose to free up another spot because Georgia, Michigan and TCU are all in if they are unbeaten.

The only thing that bothers me is the composition of the Committee.

Boo Corrigan (chair) NC State athletic director
Mitch Barnhart Kentucky athletic director
Tom Burman Wyoming athletic director
Rick George Colorado athletic director
Chet Gladchuk Navy athletic director
Jim Grobe Former coach, Wake Forest
Warde Manuel, Michigan athletic director
Will Shields Former Nebraska offensive guard
R. C. Slocum Former Texas A&M coach and interim athletic director Big 12/Pac-12
Gene Taylor Kansas State athletic director
Joe Taylor Former Virginia Union head coach and current athletic director
John Urschel Former Penn State offensive tackle
Kelly Whiteside Former college football reporter for Newsday, Sports Illustrated, and USA Today

This is and should be an Eye Opener. Michigan AD is concerning. B10 bias?
You can now see why NC State was in the top 25 to help Clemson's Resume'?

I thought they had to recuse themselves and can’t even be in the room whenever discussions involve their school?

I am not sure what the rules are here for football. I do know that Rece stated last night that NCState being in the top 25 @7-3 was a shocker to him. Seeing the Athletic Director is on the board made me question. Seeing Clemson is a low position it would make sense to keep NC State in the top 25 for Clemson's resume. Assumption but worthy of noting.

RC Solcum is the other SEC Rep I assume but really as he has little connection to SEC and I would not consider him an Advocate for the SEC. Just not sure. Kentucky AD?

Edit: Members of the committee compensated by the School cannot not vote for their school. Does not mean he cannot lobby.
