This right here. 100% I just don’t think our players react to the receiver well enough and with an apparent lack of experienced talent, I don’t see that changing until possibly next year.However... our DB's RARELY react, for whatever reason, to a WR's reaction. They also coach them to remain in physical contact, with a hand or forearm, while looking back. @jeff1vol
I think we are just not very talented (outside of Hadden) in the defensive backfield. Believe it is difficult for those guys to execute as coached.
Bring in a former running back to coach DB’s?

I have said this a million times. Just watch Bama and Georgia. That’s who we need to be able to beat. And they press a lot.Honestly I have a bigger issue with them not pressing at the line EVER. They allow a free release every play. Why can’t we play press man at least occasionally? Press man with 2 deep safeties and if they make the perfect throw so be it but enough with those easy throws because you’re giving them a 10 yard cushion
Yes turn around I seen several balls that could have been intercepted if they would turn there damn headYup, he's a VFL and his knowledge of offense is good. He could use that to teach DBs how to better identify routes, leverage and ball catching signs so
maybe just maybe our DBs could turn around when they are in phase with the reciever and make a play for the ball!
