It's really a prisoners dilemma problem. The best societal outcome is where no one has guns. But since anyone can have a gun, lots of people get them because they don't know if others are packing. If others are packing, they think they'll be safer if they're packing too. But this ends up causing a proliferation of guns and a suboptimal outcome.
.
Why don’t you google why the klan had a revival in the 1920’s. Include Woodrow Wilson and birth of a nation in your search. Especially how he screened it in the White House.Dumb libs. No one is a racist until they're an adult.

No he was protecting property, when they attempted to assault him he attempted to leave knowing it wouldn't end well for them. They didn't let him and attempted true dumbassery by trying to assault him and ended up shot.he didn't do shat. Not anything manly or tough. He was a punk that went to start something thinking he would be okay because he was trying to intimidate people with a gun.
He got his butt kicked then shot like a punk. This is a true thug.

I normally don’t participate in these left/right dog and pony shows but understand where **** comes from.
Doesn't the US own more guns per capita than anywhere else in the world? It may even be more private firearms owned here than are owned in the rest of the world combined or something insane like that.Yet data shows that even though gun proliferation has risen; gun violence has declined.
im talking about all bar fights, and what causes deaths in them...reality not fantasy...Really, you think if you take an equal number of bar fights with and without guns that you'll get MORE death and bodily injury in those WITHOUT guns?
Take those bar fights and in all 100, one party is trying set fire, beat up other patrons and vandalize... with 50 of them having a person with a gun to protect the establishment, how many burn down? How many innocent people are beat up?Do you think the situation, absent the Rambo toy strapped around his neck, would have escalated so quickly and had the same ending without the gun? I don't.
It's really a simple proposition. Take 100 bar fights. Give those involved in 50 of them guns, and those involved in the other 50 no guns. Let's see which of the two groups result in more death and severe injuries. That's my point. Remove the guns, and there's a net benefit for safety overall. Guns are an accelerant when emotions get heated.
I'm all for protesting and people voicing their frustration. It's a protected and sacred constitutional right. However, once the looting and violence starts, I'm all for people protecting themselves and property. It's also a protected and sacred constitutional right.
