You bet it’s a contest. And the stakes are the continuing survival of the Republic. Ever single Democrat candidate for every office from Dog catcher to President has to be voted out of office.

Way to take the off ramp to not relevant world. And republicans are every bit as dangerous to our republic. Garbage parties. The problem is those supporting either of them. The way the die harder take so much pride in their unearned sanctity makes me laugh.

I am sure the perp was just sitting around and on a whim decided to seek out and attend a tiny event for Zeldin. No way he or she saw the Governor‘s widely circulated and followed tweet or anything like that 🙄

Well at least you are more honest than Rep Thompson who was still claiming in tonight‘s hearing that the protestors were killing cops on the sixth. Fact checkers strangely silent as usual. Tell me again who the only fatality was that day again?

Stupid people being shot is not an argument. I have the same opinion of them as I do BLM rioters who did what they did. I wish she hadn't died. But no one should be surprised she did. And capitol police and SS deserve huge props for there not being more shootings

And I do apologize for my snide tone in this thread. I am just so sick and tired of the continuously escalating attacked on Conservatives. From the Congressional baseball shooting to The Kavenaugh incident to tonight, it just grows worse and worse. And the only reply from the Democrats is „but Trump“. This is going to get someone killed. The rhetoric has got to be toned down. And yes, January 6th was terrible. I and most other conservatives strongly condemn it But the left needs to stop using it as an excuse for not getting their own troops in line.

You do know she was unarmed right? Why didn’t the hundreds of other protesters get shot? Sounds to me like youbhad one cop with absolutely no trigger discipline who most likely discharged his firearm accidentally.

The left has to stop this craziness that any Republican who advocates for the ability of states to regulate abortion (as was the case for most of the history of the Republic) is some wild eyed extremist who wants to enslave women and establish a theocracy. It is a legitimate political opinion but todays Democrat party has demonized its adherents to the point that some of followers see themselves as justified in committing MURDER to „protect women“. That is absolutely irresponsible MADNESS. I will take several deep breaths now and calm down myself. It is no coincidence that this happened today after Zedlin‘s vote against abortifacient „controceptives“. Just like the Kavenaugh incident, the abortion of demand crowd sees this is a cause worthy of the most extreme sanction available.
And I know the Right had its share of crazies too and they have to be deprogrammed as well The bottom line is that we have to get to a stage when when can argue policy without seeing the other side as evil. Our country will not survive otherwise. And I don’t see Democrats as evil, just misguided.
