Olbermann is great with Dan Patrick but once he starts his political drivel.... well.... you know...

Bobby Jindal is a Rhodes Scholar as well, but you wouldn't know it from his presentation last night.
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, the intellectual level of discourse on Olbermann's show is about a 7. On O'Reilly's it is about a 5. On Hannity it is about a minus 3.

I think Maddow is very smart, but she is trying to copy Olbermann too much and its hard to listen to his glibness for an hour (even if correctly focused) and then hers on top of that, usually on the same subjects.

I would venture to say (for the most part) that people who watch MSNBC want to be talked to in smug elitist tones, because it makes them feel good. It makes them feel smart. Doing that involves throwing around big words and sounding important. Giving off a false sense of intelectualism.
Now, I hate sweeping genralizations, but that's the feel I get from that channel. Everything Olbermann and Maddow say, it's kind of like they end it with that nose up in the air aristocratic f*** you.
