Education and work ethic are equally important.

I think that when we invade a country under false pretenses, it destroys the morals of this country. No, I am not saying Hussein was fine, but the agenda in Iraq was purely because of our gluttonous oil consumnption, which I believe we need to move entirely away from. Solar and wind energy, hybrid vehicles and the likes.

There should be no reason that we HAVE to have oil or our economy crashes.

I'm not surprised that I'm a monority on these subjects. The demographics of the people on this site tend to be right wing supporting. So you think Obama is the Antichrist, or a reincarnation of Karl Marx, I think he has the potential to do something great, and I believe he is on his way. I'm not going to argue it, because I won't change your minds. I'm not going to point out the areas where he said what he intends to do, because you choose not to hear that. The simple fact of the matter is that all you conservatives had your mind made up a year ago. There's nothing wrong with that, but I choose to support what I believe in, and you do the same. lol I knew there was a reason I didn't post in the politics section.

unless you drop the qualifications for a HS diploma significantly, there is no way every person can get through it. A HS diploma would have the worth of one Zimbabwe dollar

I've been all for that for years. Get people started in a career early and drop this insane idea that everyone in the US needs/is able to get a HS or college degree.
