Poll: Orange Helmets for the Orange Bowl?

When I saw the orange helmets for the USCe game I knew we were introuble. We never play well, and generally lose when we do something catchy with the uni's. Stay traditional and win my friends. We should never leave the UT circle of uni's. ORG/WHT. ORG/ORG. WHT/WHT. WHT/ORG. WHT helmet only.

I think Dark Mode Halloween weekend is pretty killer. (And I bet Kentucky is still having nightmares about it.)

Still love the helmets, the Carolina game was more than a helmet issue!! But I’d say traditional white n orange T for bowl game.

Don't write that off so easily. The orange helmets were heresy and a jinx. THey had far more to do with that beat down than you think. Our win% history with alt uni anything is alarmingly bad.

Hated the orange helmets and not a fan of the Halloween black-and-orange look either. Both are too gaudy.

I love the smokey gray/orange/white unis--classy looking and strong. That is easily is favorite alternate uniform.

The night we played Vanderbilt I just thought I love the all white uniforms. Can't beat em. But I'm an old school traditionalist. I could do all black once a year those were sick looking especially Halloween night.

I'm not for getting rid of them forever, but not against Clemson. Their helmets are already orange.

We didn't lose the South Carolina game because of the orange helmets. With that being said, I think we should chuck them in the Tennessee river.

I like the orange pants also. First and foremost I like our traditionals white orange white. Away I could go either way. Orange pants or white. I like every now and then all orange. In any order. Maybe I'm old school just not a fan of 4 different helmets a year. I'm a white helmet guy. Their classy and that's what I think of when I think of Tennessee. I know it's about the kids but the Oregon different jersey look every week I'm not a fan of.

Since the ACC team gets uniform choice this year, Clemson will probably wear their all orange. If that's the case, the Vols should wear either the Stormtroopers or the Smokey grays for contrast.

I think those orange shoes from the Bama game back in the 80s got burried out at The Body Farm. Would be a good place for those helmets.

When you wear a traditional Uni 80% of the time, yes, you are quite likely to suffer a loss whilst doing so. I think the PERCENTAGES lost wearing alternate Unis is clearly much greater. Of course, the counter argument is that you usually wear alternate unis against highly ranked opponent, thus making loses in those games more likely

What if they got a waiver so both teams could come out in triple orange? I think the best move is Clemson in triple orange and UT in storm troopers. Storm troopers in Miami makes so much sense since its the city of all white (outfits).
