Bump for the trolls and doubters.
Still not a gimme.

We have 4 road games left. Luckily 2 are against Mizzou and UGA, but we saw UGA about beat AU today, so never a gimme in this leauge. The other 2 are against very quality opponents in MS St and Arky. I don't think we win both of those, heck getting 1 of them is gonna be hard.

Then you've got AU and UK both at home. We are playing a lot better, but I'm still not sure we win either of those games. I think we can get 1 but would be shocked if we won both.

Then you got Vandy and Arky at home. Definitely got to have those 2.

So the way I see it the best route to 20 is Vandy and Arky at home, then get Mizzou and UGA on the road.

At Arky, at Miss St, vs AU and Vs UK are all gonna be difficult games to win. If we could just beat UK out of that 4 games I'd be ecstatic.

What's the word on Nkamhoua injury? If he misses several games it's going to be tough to get 20 wins.

You realize Tennessee would have to finish 3-5 in order to “not” reach 20 wins…..right?

At Miss ST 58% win chance
Vandy home 92% win chance
KY home 55% win chance
At Ark 57% win chance
At Missouri 90% win chance
Auburn home 64% win chance
At Georgia 94% win chance
Ark home 85% win chance

As of now they are favored in every game. There is “virtually” no way they won’t win at least 4 of their remaining games.

Hey I agree it will hurt if Olivier misses any game……however to simply reach 20……Tennessee should be just fine.

If we can get the next 2 Ws without Kumquat, its gonna set this team off. With JJJ's mid range game on fire, and if he's moved to the 4 spot, I think it'll benefit him greatly. He looks a lot faster than everyone else when he's playing vs bigs down low. Its gonna be huge for his game. Maybe even ALPHA status..... we haven't had an Alpha since AS.

Lamonte Turner was most definitely an alpha.

The South Carolina game yesterday was fantastic. I really really want to say we get 20 wins but this team has been so hard to watch. If we could just schedule
the rest of our games at TBA, we would go on a tear. lol.

I know Tennessee has been up and down.

However right now Tennessee is favored to win each of the remaining games. How likely is it that Tennessee would lose 5 and win just 3 or fewer? Seriously?

As I posted above Tennessee has an 85% chance or better to win 4 of those games.

I don’t “think” Tennessee wins them all; however it’s very unlikely Tennessee will lose 5.

It is hard to see how we are favored to beat Auburn, even at home. I just don't see it.

Could we win? Of course, but I don't see how we could be favored.

I really don’t see it as well. Don’t get me wrong it’s at Tennessee and if Tennessee has just a normal D night combined with a good O night they could definitely get the win…….but now at a 69% probability……that “seems” a bit out there.

I have no real idea, but it could simply be a numbers thing.

How “likely” is it that Auburn finishes the season with just the single loss? Mathematically probably low….right? At Tennessee is the toughest game remaining on their schedule.

In a practical sense Auburn is better than anyone else remaining on their schedule (even in a road situation). They could easily win the remaining. However in simply a “numbers” sense it’s not very likely Auburn goes 28-1……….who knows where they “will” fall if they even do. However given at Tennessee is their biggest remaining challenge…….this could be where the numbers lead.

1. I hate when people can’t spell a players name. It happened twice here. Call him ORN if you can’t spell it.
2. That team had an alpha and his name was Grant Williams. If Schofield was the alpha everybody said he was he would’ve carried us against Purdue to start OT while Grant was on the bench.
