so a lifetime mlb average of 262 with over 2400 hits struggles at the plate
your lunacy knows no bounds
I believe Tony and Elander are working SS transfer from ASU Luke Hill very hard and are on a short list for him. But I do not believe that TN leads. Heard he more or less has his mind made up but vols hoping to get him on campus at least
This is gonna be my last post on jaslove because it’s getting a little repetitive, and while you might be right it’s not out of the question he eventually turns into a good hitter, the reality is that TN didn’t just see him in those 28 ABs. He’s had 3 years of fall ball, they have a pretty good idea of who the next group of good players is (Reese Chapman is one btw). He’s moving on because he knows the chance of him ever playing a big role here is very very small and he would know that because Tony doesn’t hide that from these kids which is very respectable.Jaslove only had 28 at bats in OOC play prior to SEC play beginning. Not a large enough sample size so not sure how anyone could definitively say he wouldn’t hit .250 in SEC. I will say his D was spectacular but who really knows if his bat would have sufficed. Hope we find some great options at SS as that’s the only big ? in the lineup.
Haven’t heard anything about the lsu but that’s interesting, but yes I believe he will be headed to OM unless Tony can get him on campus. If he sets a visit with the vols then watch out.He wanted to go to LSU, but they won't take him. Instead, sounds like he is Ole Miss bound early on at least.
Okay well the point clearly went over your head. Of course he’s going to care about defense in a SS, but he’s not going to play a dude who might hit sub .200 just to get defense out there
And nobody is saying Ahuna was an offensive first player, his defense was better than his offense. But he absolutely was still a good offensive player
Where would Denton play then? I’m fairly certain Amick is going to be at 3rd.
Do you know what Ole Miss has at SS with Gonzalez gone? I do not. I would think we are worth a look having a proven staff and a team with the one hole on the roster being the one he playsSeems a little weird to me lsu wouldn’t take a kid like this only because of Braswell. They need a 2B too and this kid is better than Braswell anyways. I do know lsu really really loves a kid they had pitching last year but as a SS. Guidry. He just happened to also have a nasty arm and they needed pitching help so they let him do that while Thompson had SS on lock
Anyways, I expect the kid to end up at OM, but I do think vols are trying to get a visit and if they get one then I love their chances
