I would almost consider Holman a must because it give Tennessee a second weekend starter along with Beam. Amick tho, that would be a cherry on top imo

I think AJ Russell is the 2nd weekend starter. Land Holman, and we have our 3.

Causey would be in that mix if we don’t land Holman, but it would be nice to have him in a long relief/spot starter role, like a Halvorsen or Sewell was.

Causey may be the answer but it’s hard for me to ignore the 5+era in a mid major conference

Meant like Holman be one a weekend starter with some experience, and not rolling out 2 new young guys. And Causey has a solid chance but his mechanics and the way he pitches. He fits that Sewell spot perfectly

Galanie is a Vol just not publicly announced. Amick left Clemson because he wanted to play 3rd base. Florida took Bama’s 3rd Basemen but posters said he will play SS for them. Zane Denton is gone unless he uses his COVID year which probably isn’t happening
What’s the reasoning for a silent commitment? Doesn’t want to scare off Amick? Assume that’s not the case but just don‘t understand why a commitment wouldn’t be announced? On 2nd thought, I bet it’s verifying that he will be admitted and checking which credits will transfer.

Maybe Moore plays short stop if Amick and Galanie are added to this roster.
SS is arguably the most difficult position on the field. I don’t think you move Moore there, but instead either moves to outfield or stays at 2B. I think he has the potential to be an above average defensive 2B with more experience and reps.

If he were to pick Florida, I'd be curious what they promised him and what kind of NIL deal they gave him. I know Amick has said he wants to play third, and I think the path to that seems clearer here, but he could be chasing the money, too. And if that's the case, then he'll go to highest bidder. And I wouldn't put it past the gator coach to make promises he doesn't keep.
I’d be worried about if the kid actually gets that NIL money, it’s no secret Florida has had problems with keeping those NIL promises

His numbers are impressive and scream MLB prospect. A landing spot at Tennessee (if the MLB draft doesn't work out) seems like a smart move on his part. However, based on his reported comments I have curbed my enthusiasm. Either way wish him the best.
