Guessing Patrick Payton is a pipe dream?
Basically how this is going to go is, all of the high profile guys that everyone "wants" aren't coming to Tennessee. But by the end of the cycle we'll have 5-7 guys who are immediate contributors/ culture fits but aren't asking for $1 million dollars. Just trust our coaches. They're great at this stuff. See Kitlesman, McCoy, Heard, Brazzell etc

We could be Florida and only have enough money to pay one DL to let two walk and only have a punter transfer who may not even beat out the guy you already have. It's all about perspective!

Can't help but wonder if we see a new wave of guys after this weekend coming from teams that have lost in the playoffs?

Portal is only open for entry until the 29th. Players don't have to have chosen a new school by that point, but if they want to transfer, paperwork has to be in.

Give me a RB from one of the playoff teams

Spring portal too. We’ll have plenty of options.

I would be happy if Elarbee has developed his underclassmen, and Moe is the only OL we have to take. I'd love to see our young OL playing at a high-level net year.

I worry about WR depth, but I'll trust the coaches on that.

Not as worried about RB.

Still waiting to see how many DL we add.

I know we won't, but I'd love to add a safety.

It will be one interior DL. We'll add a receiver and a running back too. No safety nor do we need one.

Callahan mentioned he thought the OL Thompson would end up elsewhere. His post-visit comments were glowing but it's got to just be who is offering the biggest bag.

Wonder if we’re recruiting that LB Khimori House.

Vol football and RC both follow him. Did we recruit him in HS?
LB is where we struggled a bit this year. Experience was probably the biggest factor. If Smith is transferring out, I suspect is that we feel good about our high school recruits and probably going to get at least 1 LB.

We will see. On paper, I like what we have on the roster and the potential of what we are bringing in

And that's your opinion, not a fact. I could see adding two DL to keep the rotation. Not sure we need a WR or a RB. A dynamic safety could change the defense for the better next year.

Well we’ve expressed interest in RBs but haven’t in any safeties, so.
