If you honestly think the difference in recruiting and the talent is small (no disrespect to you) you’re delusional. They actually have ELITE players all over the field in multiple positions. Dylan Sampson and Jermod McCoy (prior to getting absolutely toasted last night) were the only 2 that were elite this year for TN.

I mean he did not play up to any of the hype. Yes he was good. How many times this year you see him miss a sack? Way too many. And at any point did he take over any games. No. Reggie white did. That’s an elite d lineman. Derek Barnett = elite. He would finish those sacks every time.

But yea it does still stand. It was a brutal slap in the face of reality after last night with what team and talent we really have.

i was just thinking about how good it feels to beat bama and florida. think about that. don't ever forget that feeling. freaking hate both those programs. no matter what, they lost. and that's what's important.

I just want us to seize the momentum. Stop playing holier than thou, as we are too good to take take talented players. Go get the best, capitalize

Let’s be real lagway improved throughout the season tremendously. He beat ole miss when ole miss had the playoff birth on the line. Ole miss had a good defense they clamped up beck which we couldn’t do at all. Nico hasn’t looked good against any of the top ranked defenses this year. Does that not worry you or sound off any alarms in your head.

That is why if I was a coach at the d1 level I’m not paying him all these millions you think he’s worth. Hes a qb I’ll ride or die with him. But rn as it stand thats what we have and thats ok.

I agree with both of you. I'm extremely happy with the direction of the program and Heup. And this is way better, but last night we literally were a laughing stock over all of social media, ESPN, and the OSU fans screaming in my face.

This teams WRs are slow long striders which no team fears…..
Oline needs massive upgrades also especially at RT and both guards

Our OL cant protect, and he was running for his life for most of the game last night, sad thing is OSU was only sending 4. We need to revamp the ol and wr rooms-from a coaching and personnel standpoint

Guess we keep forgetting that bama lost to Vandy and got throttttttled by a terrible gutted/depleted Oklahoma team??? I did say Nico played 10% good this year that will include the bama game. Bama was not a top ranked defense this year. You just see bama and think of Nick Saban. That team is not and will never be the same as when Saban was coaching them.

Who’s the current best WRs in the portal? Back up the brinks truck to two of them. Period. End of discussion.

One. Proven . Been there done that in a power 5 conference vs top teams.

To go with Mathew’s and Brazel and Squirrel and Staley.

If you’re coaching and development is worth squat you should have a solid 1-2 with portal and Mathew’s, and good 3,4.

If you’re coaching isn’t good enough then you need to go get a coach along with the portal guy.
