I don’t understand why we won’t throw the slants/post/10&in routes. Week after week teams beat us on those routes but we won’t run them.

Nor do we run anything up the seam like we did two years ago. Nothing to the RBs leaking out to the middle of the field. No wheel routes, anymore. Those routes have eaten us alive.

He could probably start for half of NFL teams right now. Just a total freak. Made our likely future first round corner look like a d2 player

Proud of what this team did in a rebuilding year where the vast majority of people had us at 9-3 in a bowl game. Vegas had us at 8.5 wins.

No doubt that he gave it his all fighting through injury after injury, but he isn’t worth over paying to get him to stay. Decent player but nothing special.

A lot of the negative stuff being said about Squirrel is justified but it also reminds me of stuff that was said about Hyatt after the 2021 season. Of course Hyatt put his head down and went to work. I think Squirrel could do the same thing and really turn it around. I hope he does, because he does have the physical ability to be a difference maker.

Squirrel is too small to be a receiver unless he’s wide open and then when he is he falls down when he catches one

Jeremiah Smith is a different type of an elite wide receiver. Witnessed a top 3 pick in the draft. Tennessee needs another Cedric Tillman type really.

Recruiting difference is very small? Then the coaching difference is measured in light years. It has to be one or the other, and I don't think anyone believes Ryan Day is a savant.

No, difference THIS year. As I said before, they’ve been stacking those type of classes. We have not.

I thought that was clear but maybe my presentation made it confusing. The difference between 5th and 10th every year isn’t much. But the big schools make top 5 rankings year after year.

If you honestly think the difference in recruiting and the talent is small (no disrespect to you) you’re delusional. They actually have ELITE players all over the field in multiple positions. Dylan Sampson and Jermod McCoy (prior to getting absolutely toasted last night) were the only 2 that were elite this year for TN.

You guys misunderstood. The difference in this year’s class. OSU has been stacking classes like that while we just started. Did not suggest that we had just as good of talent last night.

Staes seems like a good kid but I expected a lot more out of him this year.

Tillman had over 1,000 yards in 2021 before Hyatt did anything. He was not good because of Hyatt
