A better Oline fixes a lot of Nico’s issues. Better WRs too. They had lots of drops this year. Nico needs to improve but he would look like a much better QB with better linemen and WRs. He’s still that same QB that looked like a dark horse Heisman contender to start the year. But once we started playing real teams with real defenses our Oline looked much worse.

I keep telling myself that Heupel is playing 3d chess and that he doesn't want to drive some of our younger players to the portal by signing their competition. My BVS tells me we got nada and next season is gonna be brutal.

Honestly there’s not many OL or WR left in the portal currently. Not sure how many answers you can give Nico lol

Branch and KC at WR.

I think all of the good IOL are taken.

💯 pure speculation on my part but Jenkins may be like Baron last year. They already had to talk him back the year before. I think maybe they don’t like guys trying to squeeze them for more money every year

I'm not saying they haven't, but Nico has his own issues that need to be fixed.
Overthrowing deep shots.
Getting ball out quicker
Processing the field quicker.
All things he could work on that would help the O line

It’s honestly like they dont see the issue with the wr and rb depth-which im not as worried about rb since a walkon can get 4-5 yards a carry with the way our system is

So is Bob also Hubbs? Because another guy on here posted what Hubbs stated about Nico and it’s almost word for word what this Bob guy posted. I think at this point it’s people posting things without truly knowing what’s happening, when in reality the kid is staying, was always going to stay, all because he has no reason to leave. People need to step back and breathe a little. Don’t let the OSU embarrassment derail the last 4 years. We’re fine.

The problem with our offense the past two years is that we run extremely limited route trees. Some plays there is literally only one receiver to throw to.

I honestly don't think the issue is him processing the field as it is he's waiting for someone to come open.... At least on most occasions. If you break down this offense on about 5 of the 8 pass plays we run there are only 1 or 2 receivers to throw to, the others on the opposite side if the field don't even run routes, they just break out of their stance and run a few steps then stop.

The offense is an issue.... Like a serious issue. If I'm a QB I wouldn't come here to run it...... And I'm a Vol fan. As it stands I don't think we keep Faison because of this.
