This is what happens when you put sh1tty offensive coaches on your sidelines. Elite kids do not want to play with under developed players around them. I hope this sh1t gets fixed and staff upgrades happen.
Nico, Sanders, Faizon, Gmac, Matthews, Brame, Travis Smith, Staley, Warren, Boo. To name a few

Changes need to be made. It is that simple. 2 years we have watched our offensive players regress. OL has been below par since Pruitts recruits left and make shift ever since. Wr's lol. The only area of improvement is QB talent and even Hooker committed to Pruitt and the TE's along with the RBs. OL would be a good place to start and possibly the WR coach.

we are locking players who want to compete and win, down first.

"The loss in numbers is dramatic but the loss in production is not. White played a lot of snaps and had a great 2023 season, but in 2024 those five receivers combined for 563 yards and two touchdowns.

And that is the damning part for Josh Heupel and his staff. Not that they lost five receivers to the transfer portal, but that in two full recruiting classes they didn’t sign one receiver that losing was a big deal. In fact, they signed just one receiver that was a starting caliber player in the SEC, and, again, he was an average starter."

Another take on the squad . Fwiw...the article doesnt bash the staff or UT. RTI isnt looking to do that. All those WRs that were lower tier 4*s though from the 22 and 23 classes were misses except Squirrel. Shoot...Leacock was a Top75 player IIRC. Has about 100 career receiving yards at UT? Something like that. Nimrod looked halfway decent last season...then dropped everything thrown at him this year while playing a lot of snaps with Squirrel hurt. He was a complete waste of the Slot WR position this season. Its hard to believe that Staley couldnt have done better as a freshman. Glad he still has 4 years to play though. Thats gonna be a big deal in a couple seasons IMO. Webb never really flashed outside either. We have no idea what really went on in that WR room though. Theres a dozen different reasons why each player may have not performed well this year. One thing they all have in common is their coach though. Pope has 5 very talented kids now. He will either shape them into good WR...or be looking for a job IMO. When your whole room gets gutted, that seems like an indicator that your seat is getting warm. Time will tell, that much is for sure. Go VOLS

Being selective with numbers. Good article explaining the numbers. We over signed and taking less transfers.
Unless you want to go through all of this yearly, freshmen aka sanders especially will be playing alot along with any other freshmen that catch on or usable in rotation. The players now have the upperhand and will be doing this every year. We will not be the only team as Alabama is a big one on depth lost.

He's probably asking what their plan is for receiver help/playmakers as well as protection in the offensive line. That's what I would be asking about. Most everyone in the world want more money. That's kind of human nature.

That’s great to see from QB1, scheme and WRs have to get better!!

wth does that even mean about Nico?

if there is no offensive movement to getting better in offense THIS winter, there will be a lot of vocal people very upset.
