Our offense is much different than what kids run in HS. They are having to read defenses and run their routes based off that. We’ve seen transfers struggle to pick up the offense

Feels like the off season going into 2008 or 2017. I doubt the results will be that bad, but it’s how it feels

I would say I’m disillusioned by the state of college athletics, but it’s really just Tennessee football. We should not be struggling to keep our own players after having arguably our best season in 2 decades. Some will try and spin it as “this happens to every team” but I don’t buy it. We have some serious issues right now, whether it’s development from the assistants, NIL, or just recruiting prowess.

I don’t find myself getting this worked up about TN baseball or basketball because those programs have proven to me they deserve our trust. I don’t think this staff has proven we should have blind faith in them yet.
