Agreed. Squirrel is the biggest loss but he's an undersized slot WR. He could replaced pretty easily.

Obviously losing half of your WR and RB room in a span a 3 weeks isn't ideal, but we're keeping the guys we need to keep.

We agree once again. We’re probably minorities in wanting to stay elite at baseball rather than sacrificing it and basketball to win more in football though.

I don’t think it has to be either/or. I don’t think this is strictly a money issue we have right now. I am far more concerned with the quality of development on the offensive side of the ball and the recruiting there.

MM is one of the best three receivers we have on the roster. At a position we are already razor thin. And lacked talent/production this season.

Hyperbolic statements but this one is not........ at that position of great need it's keep him or bust.

If Kelsey Pope can't coach 'em up and can't keep 'em on campus what good is he? Does no good if ya recruit top WR talent if they leave after barely seeing the field...and if they are top talent they aren't seeing the field because of bad coaching.

We literally haven’t lost anyone (yet) that would have changed anything for next year. Matthews would be a big loss, but he isn’t gone yet.

And I hope it stays that way......

But if we do lose him we've lost too much at an already razor thin position that will set the program back.

I just want to know who's tampering with Matthews. He's set to be our #1 receiver and everything was fine with him until tonight. Someone has gotten to him.

All big time programs target players on other teams they want and go after them hard. I dont believe the Vols do that. Other teams are on offense, the Vols are on defense.
