I would say I’m disillusioned by the state of college athletics, but it’s really just Tennessee football. We should not be struggling to keep our own players after having arguably our best season in 2 decades. Some will try and spin it as “this happens to every team” but I don’t buy it. We have some serious issues right now, whether it’s development from the assistants, NIL, or just recruiting prowess.

I don’t find myself getting this worked up about TN baseball or basketball because those programs have proven to me they deserve our trust. I don’t think this staff has proven we should have blind faith in them yet.

We agree once again. We’re probably minorities in wanting to stay elite at baseball rather than sacrificing it and basketball to win more in football though.

I just want to know who's tampering with Matthews. He's set to be our #1 receiver and everything was fine with him until tonight. Someone has gotten to him.

I've been following recruiting for over 30 years, and I'm still going with if a player doesn't want to be here, we damn sure don't want them to be. I'm also with many of you though, there needs to be changes on the staff if we're going to make it to the next level. Also, if you have coaches getting results on the field that will help with the players wanting to be here or not.

Losing the WR room is going to suck, definitely have to bring in at least one… spring ball will be tough for the lack of bodies catching the ball. Might see Davis and Brame split out to take reps too
