I know what the stat means. If his yds/reception are 10.7, then his YAC/reception WILL BE considerably less than 10.7 yards over the course of a season with 40+ receptions.

Yes I understand that. Just pointing out the reasons why it might be correct. Everyone's YAC/Reception is going to be considerably less. I have no idea how he was used in the USC offense, but if he caught a ton of screens or swing passes, it would greatly affect his YPC while boosting his YAC higher than others.

There is also the possibility that stat is referring to yards after contact/reception. Which actually make a bit more sense, tbh.

Agreed. Sometime the level of vocalness is indirectly correlated with IQ points.

You would think after the football program has wandered in the wilderness of football mediocrity for 20 years, our fanbase would have learned to appreciate the progress more.

I’m not going to pretend that I don’t have concerns about some of the player development, that’s true. I have those concerns. But there is a difference in discussing how our program can take the next step and self sabotaging like VolTwitter is doing.

It’s remarkable that we can have one of the healthiest athletic departments in the country, and a few knuckleheads with the IQ of a rock and a smart phone are all it takes to torpedo some of our momentum. People need to find a damn hobby. Read a book. Play a video game. Go golfing. This keyboard warrior nonsense is just pathetic. I hate our fans.
