The social media thing is an excuse, for someone looking for a reason to do something they really want to do.

The root of this, meaning what started it, was him sitting on the bench. No matter, the staff should have been in touch with him to make sure it didn't happen.

Im placing blame on Kelsey Pope, the
subsequent PR nightmare I dunno, dont care who started it. UT AD and Spyre have had multiple opportunities to meet it hesd on.

Right now they are down 6 scholarship WR, and need OL. Not good. This was a playoff team.

I don’t use social media, it’s BS to me. I think we’ve had some issues the last couple years with the WR’s group.

The timing of it too was to exert max pressure on Vols. I don’t believe he’s worried about Nico or anything like that at this point. He’s worried about the best deal. Not a fan of how this has been handled by either side.

I love Huepel, really he's the guy. Defense is good. Offense, isnt. All this drama around one player...reality if recruiting was where it needs to be. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If Pope isnt the guy you have to make a change. If one of my Supervisors lost my Company 6 employees...LOL.

What if the supervisor lost 6 employees who weren’t doing their job very well? Besides MM, I wouldn’t be excited about any of those guys if we were bringing them in

What crap show? Some low level players that were never going to contribute hitting the portal? That’s happened at every school.

Unless we lose MM, which still may not change this comment... I only see 4 and 5 stars at our wr positions currently. We let the 3 stars go.

Not wild about that sort of speculation. Gave up on players suddenly transforming once they arrive in Knoxville. I'd rather have proven production.

Begs the question as to why our 4 and 5 stars couldn't get on the field more this year especially in light of our struggles at the position?
