Side note: I wonder why Darrell Wyatt didn’t come to Tennessee with Huepel. His resume is significantly better than either Burns or Pope.

He should have had 5 INTS their last game.

The stubbornness of the offensive staff to play young players is hurting us. It’s just how it is in the new NCAAF. The defense doesn’t suffer from that except for a bit in the backfield and isn’t suffering the same transfer woes.

There hasn't been a freshman wr that has been productive because the system is complicated. The WR have to know what routes to run based on coverages. That's why freshmen wr don't play slot.

What a crazy, short-sighted take. Other schools are losing their players while getting ours, so the exact same ridiculous argument should be used for them, but can't. (Because they got our players.)

We're talking about the attention spans of 18-22 year olds getting bored where they are and wandering over to the fence to see what color the other grass is. It may just be that the same stupid reasons our players leave, are the same stupid reasons others' players leave.

Elarbee isn’t going anywhere imo. He’s probably the most entrenched guy on the offensive side imo.

I might agree with you if we weren’t also talking about an entire position group leaving, and we’re not seeing that type of mass exodus at other positions.

No clue on my side but would love to be a fly on the wall filming some of these deals 24/7. My 30 for 30 would be the best seller ever. Letting go of the ole College Sports world after 60+ yrs is getting harder and harder each year.

It's a gut punch in multiple ways. If he leaves the narrative about that position group and this team going into next season is very different.

It would be ironic to lose the most promising young receiver you have when moving toward a youth movement at his position........... The situations are very different.
