It wouldn't make any sense to me to go after a receiver in the portal with what we added and what we have coming back. Someone would be unhappy. That's probably our strongest position on the roster.

This BS again? The same thing was said by many of you guys coming into this year, and our WR's have been a big disappointment this year.

I love Matthews.. he has all the talent in the world but it just never clicked. He played scared all the time. Just never figured it out. Bummer because I love the kid but this is addition (NIL $) by subtraction.

Interesting. Was Mathews wanting more NIL too or was it one of those where he had an increasing deal and his pay had outgrown his development?
