Yeah, that's all possible, I guess. I doubt they are advertising the open spot as depth piece, so who knows what they can convince someone of if they get deep into talks.

Probably the difference in Gibson and SDSU RB is that the SDSU kid gets greater exposure just by making the move even if it was on the understanding he isn't being brought in to be the feature back. Gibson doesn't need that, so he'd probably take greater convincing.

Exactly, I see it happen on other teams we play every game. How often have we had a corner guard one of WRs and get their head around to intercept a ball? Far less than face guarding or chasing when trailing.

People only see it because they’re only concerned with it when we were on defense, but only watch the receiver on our offense. It’s natural to watch that way as a fan.

I mean as a RB here you’re going to get opportunities. If you’re the best guy you’re going to get the most snaps. If you’re attempting to get to the league, this is a good place to prove you’re an elite player. Jmo
