Very few players transfer and have anything nice to say about the previous school.

How do you keep a WR coach around when everybody in his room basically transferred away and they have greatly underperformed the last two years. I know Heupel is adamant to not fire any assistants for whatever reason but at some point you have to take a deep long look and realize he may be the issue here.

I will relay this, but take with a grain of salt as I am, ADMITTEDLY, just a normal dude from Knoxville, born and raised.

I work with a couple of guys who are very tight with some bigger name donors to the University who are big time business names in town. They relayed information to my colleague a couple of days ago that Miami did INFORMALLY reach out via “back channels” to Nico via the Mauigoa family. It was apparently more of a Mauigoa family reaching out to the Iamaleava family to express “hey it would be awesome to have our kids play together and Francis could be Nico’s blindside”. It was not official Miami officials or coaches but there was dialogue.

I know nothing other than that but take it with a grain as I’m once removed from actual source but I did read the text messages on the phone between colleague and big name donor

No coach, in his right mind, would allow himself to be caught tampering. All tampering probably starts with a conversation with someone on the staff but then it's all back-channel conversations. Impossible to prove tampering unless there's a recording or text message that someone might uncover.

can not let the inmates run the asylum either. This is going to be every off season now. They are going to portal ($), going to get good coaches fired and bad ones too. It is not going to get better cause the good recruits got to play em or they leave. Play younger kids get the crap beat out of you maybe, you get fired or they leave, or have a good year and they leave. It is not to be a Vol anymore it is the money. High school recruiting is you better find kids that can play now immeaduately or will never see them play and use while you got them.

Meh. If mm is gone, then I think you probably have to look at how he want really involved this year. I don't think it's the result of broken promises ort anything, butt I'm sure I'm his mind he could do at least what dinner if these other guys were doing if bitty better.

UGA needs wrs. So I'm sure there's a deal there probably. The reason everyone is convinced that if he goes in there's little chance he comes back is because a deal is already done.

So if there is anything to be done, they're likely trying to do it now.

Would have really liked to see him play here.
