Oh man our safeties are trash too. Linebackers need work in zone depth and passing off. We need to recruit better there too (pretty impressed with this years LB haul).I was at the end zone where both mod and Gibson got beat for a td in man to man. That’s on them for biting on slants and getting beat to the outside.

I’d assume he’s not considered Matthews replacement and more of a flier to fill the room out. He fits a similar mold to Velus Jones/Javonta Payton.

We were without a doubt better at corner. We were similar at safety. We just played fewer teams with a passing game. The two that did lit us up.

We were better compared to being downright awful. But the teams with a pulse picked us apart so that’s the reality. Stats are great when you’re sitting on the sofa post season.
