MM was the second highest rated player in Heupel’s 24 class. Not a good thing to lose that caliber of player. And I understand that he didn’t do a tremendous amount this season due to his early injury however he did “flash”.If MM is gone then so be it, we will have WR for Spring and I am willing to bet they will have had more production than what we have lost. Sure you lose the “expected” production of a young star but nothing is a given anymore
A time honored VNRF tradition: taking shots at people who bring information until they run them off.Probably because people take shots at him when they don’t like the news.
I want to believe, but not being able to keep Matthews in the fold has created much doubt. Not like there's a lot of WR talent currently in the portal. I know more can enter as teams get eliminated, but will it? Until it does, until we get commits from actual good WRs, I'm a skeptic. I live and bleed orange. Had my heart broken many times. Right now?I am.
I’m sure a ton of work is already happening.
Fair point on Tim Banks. I definitely acknowledge he plays a part in this. Wouldn’t be upset to see him go either.First, as I posted above, Justin Wilcox confirmed the fundamentals of turning your head on Gameday this year. It’s called being “in phase.” If a DB is not in pgase, he has to keep running. There isn’t a way to make a play on the ball if you are steps behind. When you turn, you lose speed. Maybe some coaching hasn’t been good enough for some of our players, but I don’t believe the technique is wrong.
Second, I would presume that defensive alignment is on the DC, not the position coach. It’s based on the play call.

Well I’ll say more the blatant attacking of the collective and attempt to label them as unethical.
Lmao. Banks navigated a particularly bad SEC schedule, especially on the offensive side. We didn’t beat any good teams this year. When we did play good teams, we got exposed defensively. The same guy whose defense held every team not named Georgia and Ohio State under 20 this year?? Yeah, **** that guy right?!?!?!
This is an absolutely moronic and asinine take, and while you should feel stupid for posting it, I find it highly unlikely that you have the intelligence to do so.

Banks gets thoroughly outcoached when we play good offenses. I’d love to hear your defense of his gameplans vs Georgia, Ohio State, ‘23 Mizzou, ‘23 Bama, ‘23 Georgia, and most importantly South Carolina 2022. The Banks truthers seem to have forgotten all about those performances.
Even the rumors aren’t really the problem. It’s the guy that reads the rumor, goes full Karen and wants to burn the whole program down because he is so gullible.A time honored VNRF tradition: taking shots at people who bring information until they run them off.
This is an internet message board. They are inherently built on, and fueled by: rumors, second hand info, hearsay, tweets, nuggets, etc….
Sometimes the info is accurate.
Sometimes the info is incorrect.
I’ll take the rumors, over radio silence.
