Any updates for this impatient bunch? Me included
There’s a slot guy we like quite a bit that I think we’ll go after.. very productive guy. I’d guess his name emerges sooner.

There a big time outside guys that I think we’ll go all in on but doubt we hear his name for a bit.

MM was the second highest rated player in Heupel’s 24 class. Not a good thing to lose that caliber of player. And I understand that he didn’t do a tremendous amount this season due to his early injury however he did “flash”.

It’s a pretty major FAIL if we lose MM. He was the gem of the 2024 offensive recruiting class and we just let him get away a year later? That’s a lot of wasted resources used to land him initially. There’s no way to spin this one.

Matthews has big time potential. But lets not pretend this far that we're missing Ryan Williams here. There was a reason coaches didnt start him, or he wasnt on field more.

Fwiw, i'm on record absolutely wanting kid back. But at some point you have to get your roster ready. We offered him, he isnt interested. So, onward we move. We cant control the optics.

Is there a reason Tennessee’s portal activity is always top secret? It’s like this every year it seems. On VQ and 247, you maybe get an update every couple of days if that. You look at other teams boards and they daily updates. I don’t understand why Tennessee’s is so secretive.

If the rumor of him getting $500,000 is true, that's roughly $42,800 per catch and $100,000 bonus for each of those TDs.

It's pretty simple. With all the back ups transferring down in competition MM and his handlers saw big opening on roster to ask for the moon 🌙 TN was willing to negotiate somewhat but not what MM group wanted. So I'm officially in Portal. TN is not budging over paying so Mike will get his payday because someone will pay them what they want. Tennessee will now take all the money 💰 saved on all the WR leaving target 2 who they like and move needle and tell our Freshman Class work hard this off season because you guys will not redshirt unless your injured and miss much of the season. Peace Everyone. In CHRIST Alone

That’s an opinion. I’m not talking about opinions, I’m talking about facts. Here’s another:

Did you know that Willie Martinez has produced more NFL players than Garner since Heupel hired both? It’s 4 to 1, in fact.
Facts:
Rodney Gardner signed 10 5 stars
WM 0
CRG 7 first round draft picks
WM can’t find any
CRG 10 all americans
WM 4

This has been fun but I’m bored of this. Have a great day. I think WM is a good coach. I just think we can do better and get a coach that can recruit and develop higher ceiling recruits.
Taking a 3 star and making him pretty good is good. Taking that 5 star elite athlete and making him great is where we should/need to be at. Especially if we want to compete with the Georgias, Osu, and Texas’.

Come on Jimmy, Bill. My $500 a month Vol club membership can only go so far. Help us out and donate a small percentage of your worth to Spyre. Or tell Danny you’re redirecting funds from AD to NIL. We’ve got championships to win
If all the members of volnation.com contributed $10 per month to The Volunteer Club that would add more than $6,000,000 per year to available NIL funds per year. I know getting everyone to contribute is not realistic and I know a lot on here already do, as I contribute $100 per month and can afford to, but $10 per month is not much.

He was injured for a while which hurt, but then we’re also too inclined to play the less talented upper classmen.

These numbers are not from 2021-2024. If you wanna do back to the 1990s, you’re desperate for an argument. Phillip Fulmer was a great recruiter in the 1990s. Then he wasn’t.

For the record, I think RG is the best coach on the staff. But the guy you want to fire has produced more All Americans and more NFL draft picks since the 2 coaches joined Heupel in 2021, so he must not be as bad as you say.

Martinez produced a very good group this year. You don’t move on from a guy after he builds his group from the ground up and gets the results he got this year.

You are correct about one thing how many complain about NIL but want money guys to send in their hard earned money 💰 while they don't spend a dime. That is why I don't complain about spending money. As far as TN NIL we do have the most successful Sports Program in College Period. Oh St doesn't have to spend on baseball at all we do. Now when the University starts to spend next year with new rules coming we will have the cash to truly spend on all our Sports allowing NIL to be used primarily for Football. In CHRIST Alone
