Personally, I dont see adding a player who caught 10 passes over the course of 13 games improves the wide receiver room. I get it Everyone loves the 5-star prospects. There is some reason he did not play more snaps than he did especially with the lack of production, injuries etc. I tend to think Tennessee is adding a receiver through the portal. Likely Tennessee learned a lesson from whatever went sideways with Thompson's deal and they are trying to avoid that happening again

If the receiver hasn’t announced entering the portal yet then him giving too much info could indicate that this player is not supposed to be contacted yet per the rules and don’t think he would want to potentially put the university in a bad position by releasing this info. But saying if he’s an inside or outside guy wouldn’t be exposing too much so let’s ask him for that and a timeline and see if he’s right

Sorry, my post wasn’t clear. I was saying that I’m not asking that he post name, team, or type of receiver. Just that he could have given some loose timeline at the least.

Matthews has big time potential. But lets not pretend this far that we're missing Ryan Williams here. There was a reason coaches didnt start him, or he wasnt on field more.

We don’t know that for sure is the point…you also have to factor in the money brazzell was being paid just to get here..Mike was a freshman coming out of high school totally different scale and Bru was already established here earning his…you won’t hear Bru complain solely from the money he made being here. this university/fanbase is a cash cow…his first year here is what made him the big money and was underutilized this year still getting his bag…

I don’t care if MM can’t run a route give him the ball in open space…his speed and raw talent will do the rest just like it did with CP…you can’t tell me without a doubt MM was worse than nimrod,Webb and Leacock…we know how bad they were but not mike to the full extent.
