I doubt that we would still be asking if he’s staying or going.

Heupel is all about culture.
Don’t think he’s going to give a raise and ask a problem to stay.
You may be right. However, they may be giving him a final chance to get over himself and show himself coachable (if the hypothesis in question were actually the case).

Oh, he knows. This whole thing has been about a number.

If you dont think Georgia, Piss, and Clemson have been passive and aggressively backdooring things, Ive got some ocean front property in Trade, dirt cheap.
They definitely are but if he’s made a decision to go to one of them why not be in the portal already?

A lot of things have happened in the background in the last two days with agents involved but I do know MM hasn’t told the staff he’s leaving yet.

We do have a very high NIL number out to him that he’s evaluating along with promises of more playing time and offensive adjustments.
He shouldn't need a playing time promise. He see the damn depth chart and the production of those He would be competing with.

Feel like this is more of an agent trying to squeeze the last drop out of the situation more than anything else.

At the end of the day, MM needs to shat or get off the pot. Im a big fan of MM but If I'm UT, at this point, I'm operating like he is not back for 2025.

We have a fight on our hand to keep Brandon committed anyway. That’s how it works with high end talent. No need to make it sound scarier than it is.
Yep, I've always felt this way. Just tough to keep a kid's attention for 18 months when other schools will continue to apply pressure and negative recruit Tennessee. Continued offensive struggles will only further amplify that.

I taught HS for 6 years and now work with them on another level not in the classroom. That’s exactly why I don’t get heated when kids (yes they’re still kids) pull these types of stunts. It sucks and I hate it, but I’m not gonna hate on the kid because they either don’t have the support group to give them good advice, or they do and the advice they’re getting isn’t in their best interests. Either way, they’re going to make dumb decisions and it’s my hope the adults in the room have a plan for when that happens.
I teach HS upperclassmen. Have for 20 years. I disagree. 19-22 year olds are not kids. They are adults. Adults that don't have much life experience and will make lots of mistakes. But they are not kids.

Since King and Scoop have different info. Let’s break the tie

Calling @99vawl or @Mrpeabody8888 y’all hear anything about the WR room getting better today
Not heard anything. I am currently out of country though. 🤣. Have been on a project in Canada for work. Sorry. I’m with you all trying to see what king and scoop find out.
