How quickly could we see Jefferson come in for a visit? Possibly this weekend?
I would think the visit would pretty much be for show. He was committed to play baseball here before he started rising in football and chose Alabama.

He knows this place a lot more than your regular portal recruit

Lmao… what an incredibly lazy, shortsighted take.

Assume Peyton Lewis were to hit the portal?

True. And really the only reason Lewis saw the field is becuase of multiple injuries at RB.

"However, Jefferson did just take an official visit to Tuscaloosa this past weekend and Alabama head coach Nick Saban gave him special treatment. The seven-time national championship winning coach sat Jefferson right next to him during Saturday night's dinner party.

He was just saying that Alabama needs me, and that I'm a big priority for the 2024 class and he can see me as a big difference maker on the field for them," said Jefferson on The Joe Gaither Show. "I think that's kind of what stuck out. When I met with him right before I left he was just telling me and my dad that they need me and he wants me at Alabama and when that's coming from Nick Saban that's pretty hard to turn down."

Dug this up from an old article since a lot of people seem skeptical about Jefferson.

Yeah he was one of the most contested recruits of that cycle. Saban really wanted him and so did Tennessee. Someone already posted earlier that AP said the staff had him in the top tier of their board.

Anyone know if he had any injury issues or anything or if he just didn’t get on the field? Also was he an EE?
