Other notes about Branch, Benson, and Jefferson, but nothing that isn’t common knowledge.
Makes it sound like our coaches were caught with their pants down. Not what we've been told about them having a "strategy".

Still feels like there's a lot to the story we're not hearing. This offseason, thus far, has been strange. I get we needed to shed numbers to make room, but I doubt the plan was to clear the WR room to do that.

Let the youngins eat. Target Kitselman and Davis a ton. Grab some depth if nothing else.

Should be interesting to see how it works out!

I'm good with that, to a degree. I just think this demonstrates that coaches aren't always infallible. Even should we take a step back next year, it may lead to three steps forward. You learn and improve as you go. But I still think we need some staff changes. Pope and Elarbee would be my choices. The decision is ultimately Heupel's to make, but the decisions he makes will ultimately decide how long he's our coach. I hope he makes the right ones. And no, I'm not saying my opinion is right. I could be wrong. If he keeps them and their units succeed, I'll admit I was wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. I apologized to Willie Mo already. But if he keeps them around and they continue to struggle, that's a bad look on him. I just want to see us win.

You were losing 5 guys regsrdless with

Bru
DT
Spillman
Webb
Nimrod

Got to at least get one guy with those losses regardless. Horrible management
Obviously, I’m surprised by Matthews and still have my fingers crossed that he comes back…I was less surprised but also pretty disappointed by Leacock leaving…I know he has underwhelmed to this point but I was holding out hope that it was injury related and that he would eventually break out…his HS film just looked like a star in the making on the outside

Who knows, Leacock might go somewhere and turn into a stud WR with the proper coaching. And if that happens, we'll have our answer about Pope.

Yea, sounds like the staff didn’t anticipate everyone in the room leaving. Not a good look for them at all

If I had to guess, they didn’t anticipate Squirrel and MM leaving. Not the best look BUT:

Sounds like Squirrel wants to move back closer to home and make more in NIL. It sounded like he was in the boat for next year and then decided otherwise at the last minute

MM seems to have got his feelings hurt when he MAY have been WR1 this upcoming year

Kelsey Pope right now

Idk what to tell you, he was injured at least twice, once in fall camp, and once on that amazing TD catch against Kent State. It was an upper body injury.
Didn't White have a shoulder injury to the point he couldn't raise his arm overhead and he still played? Thought I'd heard something like that on a podcast or call in show. Was Matthews worse? Different?

I know, and that's awesome!
Simply sharing something I thought was interesting that maybe someone might find a little humor in. Wasn't dissing our guy,... but if you seen Skattebo play in bowl game it was impressive.
That dude was their offensive Al Wilson. Same type of competitor as that vandy qb this year. Not sure we have that type of dominant personality starting for us this year. Got a feeling that Boo might be that type of player for us in the future.
