It’s not a whiff if the guy never showed any interest. The kid obviously wanted nothing to do with the university so how is it the coaches fault, if the kid refused to even visit or talk to the collective? Thats not what a whiff is
Why did he never want anything to do with us though? If it’s bc that position has underproduced and there’s rumors that Pope is hated, that’s not a good thing and it’s not a place some kids want to be if they have options.

What if it’s not for that reason at all?

? All I’m saying is nobody is gonna tell you who we are trying to get to enter the portal when they are not yet in the portal. Doesn’t mean they’ll actually enter.

And who cares what other teams had to do to reach the playoffs. We were there this year doing it Heup’s way.

We lost by 25 in a game that was never really close and Dylan Sampson is gone. There is no one on the roster to replace him

Not gonna feel too bad about losing like that after seeing what they did to the #1 team in the country.

Personally I would say it’s overzealous to think we could win the NC next season as well. We are in the building phase.

And you shouldn’t expect to replace DSamp. That’s not a normal RB year we just experienced. We’ll likely return to a committed approach and be very productive in the run game once again.

Pretty certain there was at least a talk.
