I bet the offense still rushes for the same amount of yards they've had every year that Heupel has been here.
I don't know where you could possibly be pulling that assumption from. I mean, it's not like we ran for 2,832 in 2021, 2,593 in 2022, 2,663 in 2023, and 2,936 in 2024 with a different leading rusher in three of those four years.

He needed money. Wasn’t going to make what he needed here. I hope he gets what he needs personally.
Oh, I agree with you completely. I just find it a little funny that playing closer to home was a priority and he ended up about 50 miles farther away.

you’re acting life this team plays freshmen
I'm acting like this team has limited spots available. You can't say we lack depth because we are losing 15 players to the portal plus seniors and a few guys to the draft and ignore that we are bringing in 26 new HS players.

Wouldn't at all be shocked if Lewis has a 1k year. If he doesn't? Still gonna crank out 2500+ as a team.

Not between the collective. That’s at least what ap said

Edit: they said didn’t talk money. That’s my bad

Yes so the coaching staff themselves didn’t make a good impression or? Maybe he just wasn’t that interested at the end of the day but if we had a conversation it woulda been nice to reel him in a bit more.
