Agreed. Kirby has struggled to pull and harness WR talent consistently. Luckily he has an otherworldly ability to recruit RBs and TEs.

Other than Swift they've had a lot of solid, not remarkable backs behind monstrous OLs. Haven't looked but I would bet their advanced stats around line yards and extra RB yards would tell that story.

Jordyn Tyson was Arizona State's top WR, and he is really good. However, he missed both the Big 12 Championship game and their CFP game due to injury. He had 75 receptions for 1,101 yards and 10 TD's in only 12 games played in 2024.

I'm actually excited about the third one. A cross between Dobbs and Hooker... REALLY hope we can hang onto him... we have a bad season this fall/regress, and the sharks will be circling.

Lack of development in talent is worrisome. Perhaps they weren't evaluated by services correctly and just aren't talented....... But I'm starting to see a pattern, hopefully that breaks and worries with it.
