Not at all. I think we all hope we've got the answers on the roster at WR right now, but I wouldn't bet next season on it. I think you search the portal and add at least one guy you know can be that #1 receiver. A guy that's proven. Just saying Bru isn't that guy.

If you want a guy that can be #1 then you don’t really want to see the young guys then. You want to see a new guy from a different team.

He has not been heavily targeted until tonight… maybe the portal talk is real and they got him some early targets.

Ah. I thought he was younger. Even still ceiling at OSU is Z. Ceiling at Tennessee is X. OSU will have an even more expensive roster just to keep guys. We can compete for Tate. Not saying he's definitely coming here or even portaling but it would make sense.

yeah I'm pulling for Tex to beat OSU, then lose to Notre Dame. I like Marcus Freeman and it takes away from any conference winning the championship. Then Sark bounces to the NFL

Never said that but when there are proven players and we have the funds then logic would suggest that more efforts would be made to land said players. Maybe we have attempted to land them with lucrative offers and they weren’t interested but I would be curious to know if they weren’t interested or if we put minimal efforts. I would be very concerned on the latter based off of our track record as of late to develop good olinemen

Don’t complain about high school recruiting if you don’t want the staff to play their high school recruits.

I think we’ll all be pleased with Lewis this coming season. He showed raw talent this year. Next year his development should be on display.

To be fair, the idea of an impact WR was brought by things said on VQ and from insiders as something the coaches wanted. People are reacting to that.
