More news (not good) Jermod McCoy tore his ACL in offseason training. Has already had surgery. Projected back at the start of 2025 season. Per AP.

Guess we know why we are bringing in a corner to visit now.
Yuck. Hate that. Now I'm glad that corner is coming in for a visit. Need another quality player there.

At the beginning of the season he won’t be 100%. But now a days it is very common for players to be good 9 months off of acl surgery. Hopefully he’s good by the time the Georgia game comes around
They can usually play, but it comes down to a mental thing whether or not they trust it fully. I’ve seen it plenty of times where it’s the second year coming off surgery that they get back to their full self. Saquon Barkley was a good example, but there have been many others

I just don't see him being back by the start of the season. An ACL tear is a gruesome injury and takes a long time to fully heal, and that's not to mention to get back to 100%. I hope I'm wrong, but I'd be surprised. My prayers are with him.

He was looking for the biggest bag. Hope it works out for him.

Wonder if Drinkajizz is gonna try to hump his leg or get a piggyback ride? It worked out SO well last time Misery had a bigshot Dline player...

If you had other options, who would ever choose to go live in Columbia, Missouri? The same applies to Starkville MS and will always hurt them in recruiting.

Redshirt McCoy. There is zero reason to play him next season and risk making it worse.

I think we’re fine in the secondary.

I mean, we could go after another DB, but you could do something like
DB: Boo or Jalen
DB: Gibson
Safety: Thomas
Safety: Turrentine
Star: Breedlove
I’ve heard a lot of talk of Farooq at Safety

Takes 6 to 12 months to fully heal. Usually for athletes like him, it’s on the lower side. I was 19 when I first tore mine and I was playing basketball again after four months against the doctors orders because I was so addicted. 😂
