Seems like a huge rush to put all of our eggs in basket in the hopes that 1 player will enter. If he doesn’t enter then what?

Just play the WRs that we have. We are not in a dire situation here. Yes, I'd love to have Tate!! But also, we have MM, Jefferson, Stayley, Brazzell, Jackson, Dodson, and even Boo at times next year. So it's not a total fail if we don't get Tate. I do feel like he would be a huge upgrade, but I'm confident in the WR room as it stands right now and believe they will greatly improve by next season. Either way we will be fine.

Just wanted to thank you for replying to several questions and posts that have been put out there. I understand that this forum is very hard to deal with and please, like a lot of our fans, but you have been one, if not the only "insider," who has been consistent on dropping info and answering questions in relation to the transfer portal and the "down the stretch" players we are targeting. I know you can only tell us what you know or have been told. Also, I understand that you can't tell certain things until you are "allowed," so to speak, for the sake of our staff, team, your sources, and yourself. But, fwiw, and I'm sure I speak for several posters on here, we truly appreciate you keeping us informed on the latest news and hopefully you won't allow a few bad apples to spoil the bunch and run you off like some have. Keep us posted. And again, thank you.

I'm upset I even said anything. I didn't think everyone would automatically assume the kid is gone. Let's see what happens. But I think everyone needs to start to realize that CFB in 2025 is basically professional sports with NIL and the ability to transfer penalty-free.

Carnell Tate is a great kid. Ohio State wants him. I think his ideal choice would be to come back to Ohio State. But we can't blame a kid in today's game if they want to:
1. Ensure they are in the best possible position to be as high of a NFL Draft pick as possible (in this case going to a school that produces top NFL talent, throws the ball a good amount and can guarantee he is THE guy in the offense vs. being #2 to JJ)
2. Do #1 while also getting as much NIL money as possible to do it

I know everyone loves Ohio State but if it was your kid you would at least want them to LOOK at an opportunity like that to be able to make the best decision for them

I know the guy who runs or owns Nike or whatever is an alum and it's legal to smoke, @TrippieRedd, there!!! But besides that, what is so special about Oregon?? I can understand Miami a little more, but wtf is so great about a bunch of quacks??

I was just referring to everyone's girlfriend. I'm sure it's a beautiful place as far as the landscape, but I'm just curious as to what a bunch of teenagers/young adults find so attractive. Not us old farts who view the countryside and breathtaking view as an upside. Kids don't think like that. They want "what's popping" and I've never been to Oregon so I'm curious to know what is attracting them there besides recruiters.
