A lot of their posters are basically saying

“he lacks the 2nd gear”

The usual post you see when you may lose someone. “They weren’t great anyways”
I hate to say it, but i thought that when we were recruiting him out of high school. I think he is still a really good and valuable WR, just not overly explosive or fast

But I feel like he makes up for it with his crisp and smooth route running. Not all WRs have elite speed, but the ones who don't perfect the other areas of their game that they can control.

💯

NOT comparing him to Rice or Anquan Boldin, but both of those guys were dominant and neither particularly fast, although they played faster than their 40 times, especially Rice

What a weird time. Your team wins the National Championship. You spend the most $ in NIL. You’re the favorite to win it next year. Your #3 receiver will clearly be the #2 across from a guy that will free you up in the secondary.

And he might be transferring. You don’t even get a break to celebrate lol
They won’t be favorite next year. They lose 10 defensive starters and 9 offensive starters, including their top 2 rbs.

My God, does everyone's girlfriend go to Oregon or Miami?? What's in Oregon that's so special?? I know the guy who runs or owns Nike or whatever is an alum and it's legal to smoke, @TrippieRedd, there!!! But besides that, what is so special about Oregon?? I can understand Miami a little more, but wtf is so great about a bunch of quacks??
Have you seen the women at that school ? Lol that's enough to make most consider

The most legions of the miserable thing possible would be to land him (after complaining we can't/won't) then lamenting we overpaid for a wr3 with no 2nd gear.

Give me "possible posts in the portal thread" for 500 Alex.

We just made a deal with David Sanders that Ohio St couldn’t sniff…so we may be better off than you think when we want to be aggressive.

Ohio St mods know this first hand.
Nope....nope.....nope! Every high school recruit and portal target in America are huge UT fans like the posters on this site and therefore the only way a recruit could possibly choose to attend a school other than UT is because our NIL is not as competitive as other schools. That or our inept coaches just can't recruit. Only reasons why we don't have 20 5-stars on campus.

People think if we don’t sign every player they want out of the portal and in recruting it means we don’t have any money 🙄

Rice was the closest NFL player we've had to MJ imo. Dude never stopped outworking people, even into his 40s at the end of his career college kids couldn't keep up with the workouts he did during the off season.

We also don't really know his true 40 since there is a big gap in reported times as fast as 4.45 and as slow as 4.71...I actually think he was a 4.4s guy all day watching him. One of those guys that understood angles better than anyone as well.

So is it a better return on investment to pay Taters for his freshman year and not play him much or just to pay him for years 2&3 before he leaves for NFL?

Just thinking about ROI!
