No they don't. Haven't you heard or seen. Guys regress here, get worse, no development, no hope. Most of our guys, especially WR, wouldn't start on other SEC teams. Other teams play similar schedules but we get totally lucky and pad our stats against cupcakes to get 30 wins in 3 years.We basically back-doored the playoff.
We should run the option

Probably true but it doesn’t seem like that’s what matters now. It’s professional sports now and recruiting is not going to be very important moving forward. It’s development and how big is your payroll. I wasn’t calling you out it just seems like anybody with their payroll that’s competent at all could “recruit “ at a pretty high level. He’s clearly a really good coach.

They're singlehandedly inflating the market for all these players. Last year it was their $20 million roster. Now overpaying for 2 receivers. You would think they wouldn't behave like a small team scared of losing their only attraction.

What is the evidence that the staff went “all in”? Or what does that even mean? Glad we went all in on a playmaker like Tate instead of another depth piece. Depth pieces it seemed is what we had last year with Brazell, nimrod, Webb, Bru returning from injury and an injured squirrel. We can get someone in the spring like that for depth now when we make room. Just hope Brazell in his 2nd year shows improvement and Matthews continues to progress like his talent suggests he will. Injury to one of those two though and a lot of unknowns.

At the very least the 2025 and soon to be 2026 wr class are ridiculously good. Good chance we sign 3 of the top 6 wr from the on3 rankings for 2026.

I understand the belief that it matters, but in reality, it's irrelevant what OSU does. There is no salary cap. They clearly are more willing to spend than Tennessee has been, whether that is due to budgetary limits or just principle from the Tennessee/Spyre side.

Regarding Tate - A few days ago I didn't have any optimism that he would enter the portal, he closed off all communication with everyone.... Looks like that has now changed. We have had communication with him for a while and looks like he is now open to offers.
