I thought it was last night for them? Hope it’s today. Maybe we can entice one of their DBs to leave.
I heard last night was the deadline which is why this comes out today.

Everyone talks about the players loyalty but the coaches started this lack of loyalty and their timing always screws the players….

I'm glad we didn't get Carnell Tate and that Squirrel left for FSU. I'm wanting to see the younger WRs we've got on the roster. I think we've got some real talent and we'll be better at the reciever position this season, barring injuries. Tate would have been nice, but he wasn't necessary.

*I also think our offensive line / QB will look better too. I'm expecting our offense to be more like the 2022 offense this season.
If Pope can do his job of coaching them up, our WRs should be fine.

OL will miss Cooper. Not ready to say they'll look better. Center can make or break the line. No one is stepping in to play at the level Cooper was playing at IMO. Hopefully we see better guard and tackle play to balance out the inexperience at center.

Here’s the kind of information you don’t want to hear: Three weeks ago, we felt like we had a very good shot at Xavier Watts and Tate. Both have serious agents. Each approached us. We met initial offer ranges. Watts was a big number, and we said yes. Tate was 200 over our best receiver. Three weeks later, we have neither. There are times when we meet everything they ask for and it isn’t enough. Watts is a game changer. They offered him game changer money. His draft assessment is too good to pass on. Tate found out he can make the most money by sitting still. It is what it is.
Thank you for this👊🏻
All the people on here complaining about ”Tate was never coming here, we were played” well so was Texas, Oregon and every other school he was supposedly going to. It happens.

Well at least we know that our coaches are trying. And like you said, sometimes no matter how good you are or how much $ you have, it doesn't work out. Think we are gonna be just fine. Thanks for the inside info.

Lat night was portal deadline, but we could still see some late entries as OSU and ND have like two business days to enter the names of anyone who requested to enter the portal through last night. The lessons MM has taught us.

This is textbook TPA: Transfer Portal Addiction. Help is a phone call away.
