Out bid yet again. This isn’t surprising. Here’s the kind of information you don’t want to hear: Three weeks ago, we felt like we had a very good shot at Xavier Watts and Tate. Both have serious agents. Each approached us. We met initial offer ranges. Watts was a big number, and we said yes. Tate was 200 over our best receiver. Three weeks later, we have neither. There are times when we meet everything they ask for and it isn’t enough. Watts is a game changer. They offered him game changer money. His draft assessment is too good to pass on. Tate found out he can make the most money by sitting still. It is what it is.
How are you ever happy as a fan? . Has not said one good thing about anything since the Ohio state game. Everything is not as bad as you say it is and if you expect perfection you might as well not watch college athleticsTheyll evaluate him until the end of February
Maybe he will be cheap enough for us. Got to get those types.
I absolutely agree our football is in great shape. Not arguing that. Just get tired of being out bid. I don’t care if you like it or not. As far as contributing? I love how people like you make idiotic assumptions. As soon as the Volunteer Club made donating tiers available, I have been donating. But hey keep your conjecture going. I am not gonna apologize for wanting us to be an elite program.I’m guessing you don’t contribute to any NIL funding. Are you seriously complaining that we couldn’t outbid the NFL? I know all you do is complain but this getting pathetic from you. Our football is in really good shape. Enjoy it
You are complaining that we go unit by the NFL. You have no idea what we are even offering these kids. If you are going to have this title or bust mentality then you will continue to be miserable all the time.I absolutely agree our football is in great shape. Not arguing that. He’s a troll. He is happy as a troll when people respond to his trolling nonsense. How are you ever happy as a fan? . Has not said one good thing about anything since the Ohio state game. He’s also a troll. Only here to take what ever nonsense point of view gets the most negative reaction/arguments.I’m guessing you don’t contribute to any NIL funding. Oh man, some aren’t gonna like that. The Stewards of Gondor are highly sensitive to any rebuke of the coaching staff.I’m on the record as the least likely to fire a coach guy, but having met Pope and watched him with players, I’m a non-believer. He’s a taskmaster without imparting the vision that goes with it. It’s fine to be a detail coach, but players need to know why. They also don’t trust him on the criteria he gives for earning time etc. He made enemies out of Squirrel and MM for punishing them for injury time. It took a lot of peace making to keep MM. I thought it was likely that he’d go at the end of last season, but Heupel is pretty strong in the belief that we honor contracts until they’re over unless there is a big reason. It’s a talented room, and they’ve settled on a spec for each position. If he doesn’t come through this year, that’ll be it.
I read it as if Pope doesn’t get it together this year, he’s done here.@Stoerner Fumbles Great insight, thanks. Are you saying if MM doesn’t come through this year or if Pope doesn’t?

Honestly it's none of anyone's business whether you contribute or not. That's just the go to question everytime, like clockwork...Tbh if someone says “do you contribute”
99.9% of the time someone is going to say “yes I contribute, blah blah”
Just a stupid ass question to ask over the internet. Quit pocket watching and make your own money.
