No one knows if we kicked the tires or not. But a lot of times kids enter the portal already knowing where they’re going. Judging by the number of Arkansas players who have already signed with Ole Miss, seems like that was the situation here.

Always seems like players already know they are going here and a couple more places.
Recruiting players well before it’s legal to do.

There's no such thing as a lock in the portal era. If we have mutual interest per @dascoop then he's not Bama bound until it's over. Also, fwiw ,sounds like Miami will be trying to keep him.

AP has said it sounds like Bama. Bama’s insiders have also put in predictions for him to go there.

Obviously anything can happen, but it looks very likely that’s where he is heading

Hard for me to see a kid who racked up 600 yards to come sit behind a mostly unproven freshman for a season.

Our top 4 WRs see plenty of action pretty much every year. Brazzell came in this past year knowing he was likely behind Bru, Thronton, and Squirrel at a minimum.

The injury scenario is the question for me. Horton is 4th/5th guy. max we take is 1. But if we have 2 injuries and don’t take a portal guy, then what?

Lost Ced for most of the ‘22 season.

List Bru and Thornton for good chunks of ‘23.

Squirrel banged up for a lot of ‘23 and ‘24. Matthews and Staley, too.

Injuries are pretty much inevitable. JMO, would be crazy not to add some experienced depth at WR in the portal. Don’t really care who it is, but it should be someone.

I couldn’t agree more. I got attacked for saying something similar I love our WR core but like you said injuries are inevitable… if one or more of of our top 3 goes down we are in big trouble

Please please stay, Cam was one of my favorites. You are one of the few posters here that is not an insulting know it all. Most of VN think Cam would have been a star here post injuries, but I for one wish him all the best .

He plays FB in the triple option offense.

Straight downhill guy. Runs maybe a 4.6.

10 cars- 35 yards against Notre Dame.

He would have to go through a similar transition as Peyton Lewis just went through this year. .

We just let go of a 6’1 230 lbs running back that’s just as fast as him, and can catch….

Tough Kid from Jersey and obviously any player that can make it through West Point for 2 years is going to be a hard worker and have discipline.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him on Tennessees roster

We can all agree that team members get a little extra privilege, I'm not sure that applies at service academies.
I think any service academy player understands discipline and team work. I'm all for this one
