possibly, and that could be backed up by many people's observation that the ACC as a whole has been the best conference in the nation the past 3 years or so...which i wouldn't necessarily disagree with...
though i expect that to change this year...MD, NCSU and UVA could be awful this year...
UVA...well maybe...but definitely NCSU and MD will suck.Yeah, those 3 schools have dipped a bit in 2005 and probably 2006. UVA should very well make another bowl, and MD and NCSU will probably be exactly the same as last season.
UVA...well maybe...but definitely NCSU and MD will suck.
and i'm still trying to figure out why people are so high on Ga Tech? they have that receiver, forget his name, and he's a stud, but o/t that, why would anyone think anything big about Ga Tech this year? i think ND is going to kill 'em in the opener...
and while CLemson is getting much love, they have yet to prove they can do anything, and no Charlie Whitehurst this year, you'd think would hurt 'em.
I think in the ACC this year, it will be Miami and FSU...everyone else will be a distant 3rd...i don't expect much from Va Tech, nationally anyway, they won't suck though. And i really think UNC may be better than expected...but that only means 7 wins instead of 5. Ga Tech and Clemson could stand to finish in the top 5 in the ACC just because the rest of the conf. will suck, jmo.
ah yes...thanks for the name...and Ga Tech may very well make another bowl...in fact, they probably will, but that doesn't mean that they're worthy of any hype?Calvin Johnson is his name. GT pulled some upsets last season, thus they get hype from national media. Truth is, they've made a bowl for 9 straight seasons, so they have SOME talent. I think they win 6 or 7 games.
Hopefully Richt will be the "automatic" replacement for Bowden when the time comes, but can you imagine RG following him to FSU? That would be scary.
