Post a picture of your pet thread...(merged)

that dog is beautiful. i had bought another boxer puppy that color, from the same breeders...but we ended up having to give it back. i miss him, his name was maxwell.
and they are such great dogs too. if my wife is home alone he just sits on guard staring out the window, and on the other hand he lets kids and other dogs climb all over him.

he is quite the ferocious licker though, I feel sorry for your pants if he ever comes in contact with them!

yeah my dog is pretty much the same way about licking, it's terrible. when he drinks water, when he finally lifts his head up after 35 minutes there is a pool of liquid that gets all over the kitchen floor. he lets my daughter tackle him and do whatever else she wants, but with me it's a different story.
every since he was little i've been play/fighting with him...so now as soon as i get home he's ready to jump all over me and try to fight, but as soon as i tell him to quit or sit he stops. his intelligence is definitely impressive.

My little furry ray of sunshine...

Let's try this again. This is my pit bull, this was a few months ago so she quite a bit bigger now, and the picture isn't the best, but this = best dog ever.

Here are our two mixbreeds, one dumped out at about six weeks old, the other rescued from a shelter. They go at it all day.

The first one is Missy. She will be 18 yrs. in November. The other one is Maggie and we rescued her from the pound. They think she is about 2-3yrs.

The wife and I got our first pet 3 weeks ago. People keep laughing at us for what we got, but we get a lot of enjoyment out of him, and he isn't nearly as needy as a dog or cat. Mock us all you want, but we enjoy him.

He's a Missisippi Map turtle, and his name is Captain Slow (He's extremely fast in the water though).

I got 2 turtles when they were real small and they lived about 13 years!!! I swear I thought I would never get rid of them! LOL

Depending on the species they can live dramatically longer than that. Loggerhead sea turtles have been aged at up to 200 years!

Common aquatic turtles like my little guy, and the ones you likely had can get around 40 years of age.

I thought he was named after a reindeer... He just needs some antlers... :birgits_giggle:

i'm thinking about gettin a boston terrier. my parents got one when i was in hs, and she died in Jan at the age of 9, due to congestive heart failure. great dog

If you want a hyper, gassy dog, go for it. That's what ours is like, although maybe you've had better luck.

that's what i like about them. i like the hyperness, not the gas. man they can let out the worst smelling farts. however when they get older they calm down some. at least my parent's boston did. she had an all white head, w/ blue eyes.
