Wouldn't be surprised to see Clemson's coach gone soon. Down 3-1 in the 8th to liberty. A lot was made about them being in the same regional as South Carolina but they are not looking likely to even play them as they can't get past a team South Carolina beat 19-0

Your point being?? Everybody is aware of the quality or lack there of that our team demonstrated this year. This is a discussion of Louisville vs Vanderbilt.

Sorry - my post did not come off like I intended - can't edit at this point. I was trying to agree with you that the mid-week games don't mean a whole lot, as evidenced by the fact that UT was 7-3 in mid-week non-conference games. I do however, think that head-to-head (Vandy/UL) does mean a bit more than the other mid-week games.

Ah, my bad. Completely missed that.

Clemson officially eliminated.

Austin Peay has nothing to be ashamed of. Won again today to set up a matchup with Indiana again tonight

Beede has had command issues all year. Those things have a way of catching up to you when the stage is the biggest. That happened last night and will again next week IMO

He has and I'm not saying you're wrong but you're vastly underestimating the plethora of arms Vanderbilt has. Beede struggled last night and in comes freshman Carson Fulmer who pitched 5 masterful innings in relief(yes I'm aware of the terrible call on the batters interference and I know that can a bad call can vastly alter a game).

Fsu second team in the super regional. Arkansas looking likely to force a Monday elimination game. Pitching depth is working in their favor.

Good post and I agree for the most part. My rebuttal is that Louisville also has elite arms. Overcoming a bad start, like last night, will be much more difficult against a national power than a mid level big10 team.

Tech is going to make Vandy earn that super regional spot. Up 5-0 in the 7th now

Oh boy!!!! How much .... Am I going to spew on here about the biggest underachievers in the history of college baseball if they lose tomorrow????

Word of advice to all the closet candy fans that come to Corbin's defense every time I refer to him as an underachiever: stay away from this thread for a few days after tomorrow!!

Giddy about tomorrow!

I've always been a big Danny Hall fan, he'd become one of my favorites with a win tomorrow.

Arkansas trying its best Tennessee impersonation trying to find ways to lose. Tying run scores in the 7th on a wild pitch on an attempted intentional walk

One thing is for certain: Corbin will be a nervous wreck for the next 24 hours. IMO his inability to get his teams to relax in pressure post season spots is his only down fall as a coach.

It is final now Georgia tech takes the 5-0 win. Elimination game tomorrow at 7 eastern time

Indiana also knocks out Austin Peay to set up a super regional with FSU.

Oklahoma beats Va Tech to become the first non 1 seed in the super regionals.

Looks like Central Arkansas is going to force an elimination game with Miss State
