British Titanic submarine rescue mission with high-tech vehicle 'blocked by US officials'
A British-based firm has a vehicle that may save the five people trapped in the Atlantic Sea - but says the US government has blocked them from joining the mission, it is reported.
A team of deepwater specialists from Magellan Limited have been waiting to leave an airport in the Channel Islands since 7 pm on Monday but approval for take-off has yet to be received, the Telegraph reports.
Magellan has apparent clearance from the Ministry of Defence to leave UK airspace, but the American government has allegedly not authorised its departure.
its a lot more about the irony/history repeating itself, and laughing at people doing dumb things. I haven't seen anyone jump out say its wrong to laugh at Darwin Award winners, not sure why I should suddenly feel bad because these ones are rich.
I have laughed at plenty of memes that covered worse situations than this, and I don't see a reason to stop.
If it is a debris field from the sub, then they most likely suffered an instantaneous death from implosion.
