Just bc it is a Christian nation doesn't mean EVERYONE is a Christian. It doesn't offend me when people pray bc I simply don't follow with it, but it may offend some people.

Well if it offends you (or whoever), then don't come to the game. If you don't like what this nation stands for then leave.

Yeah cause this world is real great right now. Im saying religion is fine in private schools or being taught as a elective in public schools but it shouldn't be mandatory to be taught it in school since not everyone has the same beliefs. That's abusive.

you are allowed to believe what you want, but know this one day you will stand before God and give an account for every word and deed whether you believe it or not doesn't change the truth and God word is truth

I said it doesn't bother me bc I simply don't participate but you are being close minded if you could care less if it offends another majority of people. Which is typical in Christians. Close minded thinking about themselves. A moment of silence and you can do your prayer and there isn't any difference than everyone else doesn't have to hear it. Big deal.

We have freedom OF religion NOT freedom FROM religion. It bothers me that they want us to tolerate "THEM", but they will not tolerate "US".

There is nowhere that states you must choose a religion. I do agree that most people say they are accepting of all religions but what they really mean is all but Christianity.

Thanks for enlightening me. I'm a middle school teacher. I kinda know what's in the textbooks. How do you feel about kindergartners in California having gay history in their curriculum?

You teaching children is scary, and gay people are involved in history whether you approve or not.

I don't have a good history with atheists because most of the atheists I have met were all jerks. They always wanted to make fun of Christians.

Yeah Christians have it real tough in America, they are just the vast majority and are in almost all positions of power in government and business.

Yes, you have to realize all others are just haters because they have nothing to look forward to after they screw this life up. So they give Christians a hard time, but since Christians control everything and make all the rules just chock it up to envy. I wish thoses darn Christians would quit forcing the teaching of evolution as fact and telling kids not to pray and watch more Glee.

I judge people for who they are. Not their beliefs. I don't make fun of Christians bc I know how it feels to be discriminated against simply over beliefs. It isn't right.

Just me but I don't know how anyone can go outside and see a sunset, see an eagle catch a fish, drive through the Smokey Mountains or whatever and not believe in God.

And I don't see how people can believe in something they have never physically seen, or can answer how he got here in the 1st place in a LOGICAL answer. It's all faith but u can have faith in anything.

Like you said, it's faith for me. As far as God not being able to be seen, the same thing goes for wind.

I believe in creationism. I created my kids therefore I am God! I grew up in the southern churches and I know from experience that christians are some of the most hateful people on the planet and none of them do what their beloved bible tells them to do. They just pick out what they like and say.. you do this or you go to hell! thats the way it is and always will be.

You can physically feel wind so you know it's there. It's just faith. What makes people feel better about death and life, etc. I respect anyone's beliefs as long as mine are respected also

Thank you. They are less discriminated against than I, a atheist is.

Sorry if some come off hateful. Let me first say that is most Christians mistake. I just wanted to say all the evidence of GOD is around you. Again, I do not mean that in a sarcastic or harsh way. I only say this because I care. If there is no GOD, then we have no hope. I just ask where is your hope? What do you live for? :hi:

it used to be the majority ruled in this country now it's the minority and spineless politicians and groups like the one trying to remove it.

The Constitutional Republic that is America has never been ruled by the majority. Education.....apparently it is not what's for dinner.

I understand where you're coming from about Christians being hateful. Those generally don't seem to want let anyone have any peace, which is wrong.
