Aaron us attacking other countries basically says "Don't F&^% with us or we'll blow your country to pieces!" Now dod I think all war is good? NO, I think sometimes it becomes a political pissing contest but to just dismiss what the military does as not fighting for your freedom, sir you are an idiot.

Be sure to go to bed tonight and kiss your significant other and appreciate the way you live, cause right now there some marine, soldier, airman or sailor stuck in the middle east fight the fight to help protect your country

On another note, going back to the original post. Not sure what they are doing as far as acitivities, but the UT sideline apparel will have the "Power T" with the American flag inside. The players and coaches on the sideline will wear polos, tees, and hats with this logo to show their respect.

Don't bring the church into it. You know what freedom you woulda lost had we not kicked Japan's and Germany's a&& in WWI and II? You're freedom to travel to those countries. Th freedom for young American hippie college students to back pack through Europe during the summer.

People like you are pathetic, like I said appreciate what you got cause someone else made it possible

ask this instead...why did germany become so violent? look at how we handled them after WWI and then Japan after WWII.

I'm sure it's because we "pushed them into a corner." Right? Sounds like your the one that's been indoctrinated. The truth is always in the middel but the reality is that we are all responcible for our own actions.

because you can't name one...youve just been told that our freedoms were in jeopardy...bush said the same thing after 9-11...

the only freedoms that are given to us our life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. i'm pretty sure the right to life was taken from the men and women in hawaii, from the people in new york, from all the brave soldiers who have fought for your 'freedom' even before your great grandfather was alive. I think you seriously need to reevaluate your thought process before life kicks you in the ass....your ignorance is amazing.

then we are the only country that has killed to prove that everyone has the right to life.

I'll tell you what Aaron, I would like for you to be my guest at Quantico next summer. I would love for you to sit down in front of me and my Marine friends and tell them that the military does not provide freedom for Americans. Also ask them to not stand during "God Bless America" at that point you will see how these folks feel about their country.

i do not believe our freedoms come though war, first and foremost. they are the actions of a free society's decisions to live that way. the only freedom that can be given or taken away is that which our government decides to talk away. if freedom is accomplished through violence there is no freedom i possess, no way of life, no standard of living that i would ask my son or daughter to die or kill for so that i could have.

There was something call the Revolutionary War that gave you a lot of the freedoms you have today. Think about it.
