Predict Steven Strasburg's debut preformance

i am proud to say i am sick of the hype. i will be avoiding espn the next few days after the strasburg debut and i will still end up hearing way too much about it. there is simply no way to avoid hearing about him unless i balled up in a dark corner for a week. the guy will be very good if he remains healthy throughout his career. i am not debating or questioning his abilities to throw a baseball. lord knows, i have seen enough live minor league look ins when he is pitching.

i just look at it this way. i am not a fan of a team in the nl east. therefore, i don't care about the players on the nationals. i care about my team and the needs to compete in the nl central. for example, i get sick of hearing about pujols everyday also. he is a great player. again not debating that, but i just don't want to hear about him constantly. many people do care about both of these guys, and that is fine. i just want it to be known that there is at least one person out there with a different kind of love for the opposition. i want to see them fail so my guys have more of a chance.

i also hate youkilis's batting style with a passion. sorry, i just got a little fired up.

Anyone else watching? 4 strike outs after 2 innings. The kid is impressive so far.

Let's face it. Strasburg is great and you won't admit it.

Lets face it. He's great when he accomplishes something in the Majors which he has yet to do. Im just not going to suck off the guy like you, when he has pitched 4 innings in the bigs. He has the potential no doubt...but a lot of guys have had potential and done nothing with it.

And for the record I could not care less

Bob Costas should be put out to pasture, he has been comparing this kid to Juan Marichal, Walter Johnson, so on and so on...saying that he could be a historic player...he may be, but it is his first start...good grief.
